You Don’t Have to Have It All Figured Out

At some point, you look around and realise everyone seems to be moving forward except you. Someone has a new job. Someone is travelling. Someone is getting married, starting a business, moving to a new city, or finally becoming the person they always wanted to be. And you’re still trying to figure out what you’re doing with your life. I’ve felt that way more times than I can remember. I remember one night sitting on my bed with my phone in my hand, scrolling through social media without really paying attention to what I was seeing. It was late, and I had already spent most of the evening thinking about things I wanted to change in my life. Then I started seeing everyone else’s progress. A friend had started a new job. Someone I knew was travelling. Another person had launched a project they’d been talking about for months. Everyone seemed to have something to show for their time. I looked at my own life and suddenly felt like I had nothing to show. I put my phone down, op...

When Life Doesn’t Go According to Plan

September 23, 2026 We all make plans. Some are simple. We plan what we want to do tomorrow, where we want to be next year, or what kind of person we want to become. Some plans are much bigger. We imagine our future, our dreams, our relationships, our work, and all the things we hope will happen along the way. For a while, everything can feel clear. We know where we are going. Did I make the wrong choice? Should I have tried harder? Maybe you have ask...

The Things We Never Say Out Loud

We smile when someone asks if we’re okay. We say, “I’m fine.” And then we continue with our day as if nothing happened. But somewhere inside us, there are conversations that never happened. Words we wanted to say. Questions we wanted to ask. Apologies we never received. And goodbyes we never got the chance to say properly. Sometimes, the hardest things aren’t the things people say to us. They are the things we wish they had said. “I understand.” “I’m sorry.” “You mattered to me.” “I should have stayed.” A few simple words can mean everything when they come from the right person. But life doesn’t always give us those words. So we learn to live with the silence. At first, the silence feels unbearable. We replay old conversations in our minds. We think about what we could have said differently. We wonder whether one more mes...
